 Can just one person be responsible for creating an inclusive environment in the workplace? Significant, sustainable change is only possible when equity and inclusion are infused throughout an organization. T Participants will explore the Six Signature Traits of inclusive leadership and strategies for utilizing these traits at any or level within the workplace. Join us to learn how, regardless of your role or position, you can help create a more inclusive environment in your workplace.

Recommended Prerequisite Knowledge: None

Learning ObjectivesAt the end of this course, the learner will be able to:

1. Articulate the Six Signature Traits of inclusive leadership that can be utilized by anyone at any level of an organization.

2. Describe the concept of cultural competency.

3. Contrast culture add and culture fit.

4. Reflect on strategies to enhance inclusion in one’s own scope of work, within organizations, and within volunteer roles.

5. Engage in inclusive conversations and utilize strategies for handling challenging conversations.


Speakers

Dani Wolland 

Dani Wolland is a certified Diversity Practitioner and has degree in psychology from the University of Maine. She specializes in leadership development, curriculum writing, public speaking, recruitment, and crises management. Wolland has extensive experience managing large consulting teams to achieve desired program outcomes

 

Divya Ramoo 

Divya Ramoo is an organizational change specialist passionate about helping organizations foster more inclusive cultures to enhance the workplace experience for all. By leveraging her professional experiences in leadership and organizational development consulting, she aims to provide clients with impactful experiences that add value their own unique D&I efforts. She holds a master's degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University and currently serves as Director of Organizational Development for The Sleeper Group.

This course has been approved for 1.5 IIBEC CEHs. This course has been approved for 1.5 AIA LU.

At the conclusion of this course and upon completion of the required survey(s), learners will be able to download a Certificate of Completion within the LearnUpon platform.
